These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PRA Portal available at https://reg.pra.punjab.gov.pk/ ("PRA Portal") and your relationship with PRA ("we" or "us"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this Portal. Disclaimer

The PRA Portal is aimed to provide the highest level of services and information to its Taxpayer. The secrecy provisions in the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002 an employee of the Department of Taxation from disclosing tax information that is provided on your filed tax return. The disclosure restrictions do not apply to the employees of the PRA that facilitate the electronic filing of tax returns. Thus, the penalties may be imposed against only those employees who violate the disclosure restrictions. Accordingly, this PRA is not responsible for investigating allegations or prosecuting employees of e-intermediaries who disclose tax information to third parties. Please read the information on the PRA provider Web site carefully, including information concerning its site's security and privacy protocols, before you begin the e-filing process.

Privacy Policy

PRA online e-Services through PRA Portal is committed to protect the privacy of all the taxpayers registered with us as e-Registered. We want to provide a safe and secure experience to our users. We will ensure that the information you submit to us through this portal remains private, and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy. Your personal details, including your name, CNIC, e-mail, Address etc along with your business, companies/firms particulars are held and used only by us. We will share your information within the PRA where necessary, in order to provide you with our e-Services..

Use of the PRA Portal

We operate the PRA Portal to assist you in understanding PRA e-Services and in communicating with us. The PRA Portal is provided for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the e-Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of the PRA Portal. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes. The changes will apply to the use of the PRA Portal after we intimate/displayed the notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the PRA Portal. If you continue to use the PRA Portal after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the PRA Portal indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.

Your use of the PRA Portal

You (as e-intermediary) are not allowed to use the PRA Portal for making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner. You will be responsible for our losses and costs resulting from your breach of this clause. By submitting information through the PRA Portal you agree and acknowledge that while we may contact you in response to the information you provide, we are not obliged to provide you with any particular product or services.

e-Enrollment

In order to access the e-services and facilities offered through this Portal you must register on the PRA Portal which will be called as e-Enrollment. While e-registering you must ensure that the details provided through e-Enrolment or at any time are correct and complete. You must update your profile immediately in case of any changes in order that we can communicate with you effectively. If you register to use the PRA Portal you will be provided login ID, Password and PIN Code. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this information confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should change it immediately or notify us. If for any reason we believe or our system indicates that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the PRA Portal, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account. Right to suspend or cancel your e-Enrolment We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions. You can de-activate your e-Enrolment at any time, by logging onto the PRA Portal, through "De-Activate e-Enrollment" link contained in the Profile link. The suspension or cancellation of your e-Enrolment and your right to use the PRA Portal shall not affect either party's statutory rights or liabilities.

Right to suspend or cancel youre-Enrolment

We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions. You can de-activate youre-Enrolment at any time, by logging onto the PRA Portal, through "De-Activatee-Enrollment" link contained in the Profile link. The suspension or cancellation of youre-Enrolment and your right to use the PRA Portal shall not affect either party's statutory rights or liabilities.

Availability of the PRA Portal

We cannot guarantee that the service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs in the service you should inform/intimate us and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can. If PRA is informed of any inaccuracies in the material on the PRA Portal we will attempt to correct the inaccuracies as soon as we reasonably can. Your access to the PRA Portal may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or e-services. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.

Intellectual Property

All information incorporated within the PRA Portal is owned by PRA. You may retrieve and display the content of the PRA Portal on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use (except allowed for e-intermediaries), provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes (except allowed for e- intermediaries) any of the materials or content on the PRA Portal without written permission from the Punjab Revenue Authority.
